Autobiography

Joined the Sanyo 555
user group in 1983, and the Sarasota PC Users Group in 1985. Charter member of
Manatee PC Users Group in 1986. I was librarian for both Sarasota and Manatee
for five years.
Developed joint library. Incorporated Manatee and obtained Federal
non-profit status for both groups. President of Sarasota PCUG for two years.
Held the following positions for both Sarasota PCUG and Manatee PCUG for many
years simultaneously:
- Director
- Director of Programs
- Director of Software Acquisition
- SIG Leader
Later became:
- Director
- Program Chairman,
- SIG leader
- Software Review Chairman of PC RAMS Computer Club in West Palm Beach for
four years.
Obtained Federal non-profit status for FACUG (Florida Assn of Computer User
Groups, Inc.), PC RAMS Computer Club and for Palm Beach PCUG of which I was
Vice-President. Panel member and speaker at APCUG and FACUG meetings. The
promoter of FACUG and one of the three founders of FACUG. Was Secretary of
FACUG for three years, President for four years, and a director for two years.
Incorporated FACUG and obtained Federal non-profit status. Organized and ran
the FACUG spring conference for the four years. Created the FACUG Website and
was Webmaster for four years.
Was active computer consultant. I built and sold computers for ten
years.
Degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Michigan and Masters
Degree study at Columbia. Board of Directors of National Commercial Finance
Conference.
I was Treasurer of the Sarasota Sailing Squadron for eight years, and the
Treasurer and President of a large condo association for five years.
Product Review Coordinator for Los Angles Computer Society.
