About the PC MONITOR
The SARASOTA PC MONITOR is the official monthly journal of the Sarasota Personal Computer Users Group, Inc., in Sarasota, Florida. The group is a non-profit educational foundation. A newsletter subscription is included in the $35.00 annual group membership dues and in the $50.00 annual family group membership dues.Materials contained herein may be reproduced by other Users Groups provided proper credit is given to the authors and the publication, except articles marked "Reprinted by permission..." or "Copyright".
Submissions or Messages
We encourage readers input and suggestions and will do our best to publish any and all news or information of interest to the group. Articles, product reviews, questions, articles for sale, and opinions from group members are welcomed for publication.
We prefer that you submit your articles via email (use email address just below) or on a floppy disk with your information in an ASCII text file or in a commonly used word processor, or a typed or printed copy of your text if you have no way to provide floppy diskette, to the EDITOR:Dr. Herb Goldstein, Editor and Publisher

Deadline
All material for publication must be received by the editor no later than 18 days prior to the next scheduled meeting. Advertising Policy
The Sarasota Personal Computer Users Group Journal welcomes microcomputer-related advertising within the limitations imposed by the BODs (the group retains the right to reject or edit materials submitted). The monthly journal circulation is in excess of 1,300 members (readership exceeds 2,000).
Member Classified Advertising
Text only advertising, of a non-business nature, is available on a space-available basis in the Classified Ads section to all members in good standing. These ads will be run free of charge on a onetime basis unless other arrangements are made prior to subsequent deadlines. Copy must be submitted via email or on diskette to the Editor prior to the newsletter deadline.
Display Advertising
Commercial advertising copy (CAMERA READY, black and white only, with no visible tape), copy changes, and payment must be received by the Advertising Chairman or the Editor no later than 20 days prior to the date of the scheduled regular meeting.Advertising, logos, artwork, etc. will be subject to quality standards. Advertising below the Board's quality standards may be rejected.
Camera-ready copy may be submitted in any one of the following partial, full-page or insert formats. 25% surcharge for specified placement:

For catalog, product or technical reference, and other information distinctive from regular in-column advertising copy, the newsletter can accept a trimmed preprinted removable insert (one 8 1/4"x11" sheet, single or double-sided).
Advertising Copy Delivery and Payment
All advertising copy, copy changes and payment in full must be received by the Advertising Committee Chairman or the Editor no later than the 10th day of the month prior to publication. Reservations for new placements must be received 30 days prior to the scheduled monthly meeting.
Back Issues of the Monitor
Back issues of local articles and reviews may be available on diskette or hardcopy, but the group does not maintain a newsletter archive. See the Software & Hardware Reviews and Regular Commentators/ Columnists for articles from past issues.
